Trade missions can help to stimulate economic growth, create jobs, and enhance the international reputation of the film, television and video game industries in the region.
A trade mission provides an excellent opportunity to showcase local talent and expertise, attract foreign investment, facilitate co-production and distribution deals, build industry networks, and increase awareness of local incentives and programs.

Edmonton Screen has established the Trade Link program to make a targeted effort to support the community in seeking partners on their projects. Edmonton Screen will lead missions for the film and television industry but also the video game industry. Successful applicants will work with the ESIO and with a market expert consultant to determine the needs and objectives of the companies. The consultant will be engaged to provide meetings to pitch projects to a variety of industry decision-makers based on each company’s projects and specific goals.
