The SIF programs are aimed at screen content creators who are changemakers, adventurers and pioneers. The SIF programs support creators as they begin their careers, take the next step in their careers, and work to create a more diverse and inclusive industry in our region.
We invite all creatives, talents, entrepreneurs, and anyone involved in film, television, or interactive digital media to participate in the SIF programs.
The Elevation Program
The program will fund film and television productions up to 10% of their budget with a maximum investment of $100,000. Eligible projects will be those that represent a significant step forward in the career of the producer. That step may be in the size of production, genre, or format.

Underrepresented Initiatives Program
This program will help to fund initiatives carried out by non-profit organizations that help to increase diversity and equity in interactive digital media and film and television. Funding will be focused on developing individuals and accelerating the careers of those in underrepresented communities.
Key highlights- Applications not currently being accepted.
- A new intake will open in 2025.
The Trailhead Program
The Trailhead Program supports recent graduates to take their projects to the next level, providing hands-on industry experience, mentorship and an opporunities to add to their portfolio and help prepare them for jobs within the games industry.

Summit Push Program
The Summit Push Program aims to increase the visibility of local producers/developers by showcasing their work at internationally recognized events and providing support to engage their ideal investment targets.

- Showcase opportunities at Game Con Canada and gamescom 2024
- $5,000 per studio to support showcasing
- Next intake will take place in 2025
