The ESIO is proud to announce the selection of the participants for our two latest Strategic Initiatives Fund (SIF) programs, the Trailhead Program and the Summit Push Program.
The Trailhead Program was developed in partnership with the University of Alberta’s Computer Game Certificate program. The participant teams are:
- The Council of Gamers
- Variable Eye Games
- We Need Weevils
- Will-O-Works/Team Scarlett
The Summit Push Program was open to local studios with games under development and ready to demo. The participant studios are:
- Caldera Interactive
- Crimson Herring Studios
- Itzy Interactive
- Occlusional
- Only by Midnight
- The Frozen Machine
For the next several weeks, both groups will be working together through a number of workshops all leading to our showcase at Game Con Canada in June. The Summit Push Program participants then carry on over the summer, culminating in the ESIO delegation to gamescom in Cologne, Germany in August.
